Based on the 1D song Tell Me A Lie When Harry arrives at home after going out to buy ice cream, a strange man is sitting next to Louis in the kitchen. The reason behind it shock him.

"You're driving me insane," I tell him, half-laughing, half-serious. Harry hums, eyes on the road. "Good. Saves me the trouble of finding a radio station you actually like." I can't help it - I laugh. "You're impossible." "And yet," he says, glancing at me with that quiet smile, "you're still here."

Since the academy, Harry and Louis have moved in the same orbit- a firefighter and a police officer who were never just friends, not really. Years of working side-by-side, saving people, teasing each other, and pretending their hearts weren't already spoken for. But love has a way of surviving sirens, blue lights, late-night calls, and even the fear of losing what matters most.
