Izzy is a 16-year-old common girl. Jack is the 17-year-old son of a pirate. Not two people that would normally end up anywhere near each other. When Izzy is four she wanders away from her mother and is found by pirates. Much to the surprise of her parents, they return her home. 12 years later that same pirate comes looking for her. His remembers how much his son liked the young girl, and in the time of need, he'll do anything to make his son happy again, even if it means kidnapping. He does just that and Izzy is forced to stay on the ship with Jack. She, of course, wants no part of it but doesn't have much of a choice. She, of course, gets off the ship as soon as she can, but doesn't manage to stay hidden, and is dragged back. Living on a ship full of men is a challenge and she has to get used to it. Jack can help, but Izzy isn't sure about it. She knows that she either has to learn to get used to it or get off the ship once and for all, neither are going to be easy to do.
