When Wylan leaves home on his 16th birthday he finds himself amongst an unusual group of people and can't seem to stop blushing. The Dregs try to take down Jan Van Eck because he has been getting on Kaz's nerves. Jesper meanwhile is enjoying toying with his merchling but his playful flirting and nonchalance is really only the beginning of his true feelings for Wylan.
