Sonic and Amy met at a young age and vowed to be best friends forever,but an attack separates the two. Years pass and King Sonic meets a girl with no sign of any memory from her past. Will he help her or distrust her? Is she the enemy or friend?

Sonic and his friends found an ancient black heart gem from the tomb chamber. They just thought it was an ancient artifact but when Sonic touches it, an unknown black entity enters his body. Sonic goes through different changes for days, the unknown entity takes control of his heart and his body.

What do you do when you find out that she isn't dead? After all these years, I thought she was six feet underground. I thought she was gone. I thought she was dead. Now in the hospital and she's alive. However she's not in the best condition at all. She's afraid of me, she's afraid of everyone. She's not the green eyed cheery girl I remember. Now that she's back, I'm going to help her. No matter what. But as I help her get back on her feet am I falling for her all over again.

She laughed a charming little laugh whose melody made even the most extravagant of symphonies sound dull. "What are you talking about, Sonic?" He lay back in the grass, tucking his hands beneath his messy head of quills. "Eh, forget it." He claimed; but the truth was, even he didn't know what he was talking about. He just knew that it sounded right.

It's been two years since the gang finally settled in their home world, Mobius. There has been nothing but peace, a sort of peace that bored Sonic and left him craving Amy's company. Everyone has just gotten used to a "normal" state of life. But when a strange ancient canine clan is suddenly after Sonic, the gang must go on a dangerous journey across Mobius, on a quest for the Gems of Hope. Will they be able to make it in time? And will Sonic and Amy's new relationship last, even when he starts to lose his sanity?
