Alexandra Anderson is on the run from the law. When the thirteen-year-old orphan can run no further, she collapses at the gates of the prestigious racing and breeding farm, North Oak. Horse racing strikes a deep chord in her. She hears a higher calling in the jingle jangle of bit and stirrup and in the thunder of hooves on the turn for home. It tells her she has a place in the world. But when the racing headlines find her on the front of every sports page, she realizes North Oak is no longer a safe haven. Money can't buy love, but it just might secure Alex's future. Will everyone at North Oak still want to offer her a home when they learn of her unspeakable crime? On the heels of Joanna Campbell's beloved Thoroughbred Series, and Walter Farley's Black Stallion, comes a brand new young adult horse racing series that will sweep you away like a runaway Thoroughbred. EXCERPT: Joe brushed his hands off. "I get tired of watching other people's horses; tornadoes on toothpicks. No substance to em. Million dollar one hit wonders. Let me tell you the kind of horse I want to train. I want a horse with legs of steel that can run all day and blow by like a summer wind. Give me the colt that can outstay a mile and a quarter, or a filly with a heart bigger than any other colt on any given day, and I'll give you a champion. We're playing the same game here, you and I. It's called put the lightning in the bottle." IF YOU LOVE NORTH OAK, DON'T MISS NEWS ABOUT THE NEXT BOOK! http://eepurl.com/cva1T1

(ICETAIL'S ENEMY SEQUAL!) "The ancient secrets of the forest will sway of a new path for three cats alone." Everyone knows how Icestar's brother died in the Battle of Darkness. As the false Clan is gone, everyone hopes for peace, but within due time they realize that things are not over yet. The Twolegs begin to eat up the forest, and right below their paws, the caverns are changing the home for all four warrior Clans. As tree falls after tree, Icestar knows that he has to lead everyone away, even if it meant to drag the remaining proud leaders with him. Meanwhile, Icestar's kits face troubles as well. Dewkit, born with the looks and name of Dewstar, gets judged daily as if nobody would accept him for it. Ravenkit lets her ambitions get the best of herself. Time and time again, she only causes trouble, and at these extreme circumstances, extreme measures must be taken. Both kits realize that their paths are much different than their Clanmates---especially with a new prophecy on both of their paws. Will all three cats let their true fates take hold, or will they change the course of the Clans with their own hearts? * * * (This book has been DISCONTINUED) ((WARNING: read the first book, Icetail's Enemy, first. You won't understand this book if you do not.)) ((DISCLAIMER: Warriors is a series owned by Erin Hunter. This is just a fan-fiction.))

This version of this story is actually discontinued, so you may have better luck reading the new version here: https://www.wattpad.com/story/224458043-visions-of-embers While they are different versions and different things will happen, there will be some spoilers in this version. --- The Clans are prosperous in their new home, their numbers growing rapidly, but StarClan once again senses a great change on the horizon. Several generations after the war between StarClan and the Place of No Stars, a new prophecy arises that devastation will come and divide the Clans forever, but Whisperleaf is worried that the prophecy will divide StarClan again as well. No one seems to have any idea what the prophecy means: their only clues are visions of death and fire, while one cat is haunted by dreams of battles taking place far away.

Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres. Or at least attempt to. // Contains darker themes (such as death, gore, etc.) and may cause one heartbreak. Includes art for most chapters by me. Started : September 12, 2015 Finished : March 30, 2016

"It is forbidden for a reason, young one. Love makes you weak, a fraction of yourself. It keeps you from being the best you can be and that is why we must mask it. Ambition, intelligence, strength - now those are qualities that will get you through this harsh life. But being loving, compassionate, kind? Those are the best ways to get yourself killed." Generations after the Masked Uprising and the fall of StarClan, DarkClan's way of life is no less harsh. Emotions are strictly forbidden and any talk of the Old Life is considered treasonous and punishable by death. It is in this cruel setting that Nightpaw finds himself apprenticed to the only cat with an ounce of freedom: the truth-teller, a cat specifically chosen by the Masked to remember the history of DarkClan. Yet, Nightpaw doubts the truth in the truth-teller's stories and finds them even harder to reconcile when he is visited by someone he'd been taught no longer exists. Caught between fear and curiosity, the truth-teller's apprentice finds himself stuck between two versions of the Clan's history - two truths where there should only be one. And he will stop at nothing until the truth is unmasked. // I have the story rated as teen. Please be warned that there will be a lot of bloodshed and dark matters discussed in this novel.

In order to survive in a world that would rip her apart, she disguises as a boy, training to fulfil her supposed destiny. But fate has other things in store for her. An ancient evil is rising - and only Constantine may have the power needed to fight it. Along with a brash warrior and a too-perceptive scholar, Constantine begins to unravel secrets of a prophecy foretelling the end of the world.
