Eliza Sage has a knack for getting herself into trouble. After a stint involving a fire, a cow, her old principal, and a lot of post-it notes, Eliza finds herself being shipped off to live with her conservative aunt and uncle in what she affectionately refers to as Nowhere, Illinois. Initially, Eliza can’t think of a worse way to spend her summer, but one fair, one auction, and one boy might just be enough to change her mind.

Every teenager is an addict. Whether they're addicted to shopping, texting, sleeping, playing video games or simply just hanging out with their friends, every teen has that one thing that they can't get enough of. Let's face it. There are way more cliché books on this website than there are unique ones. Even the ones people say are unique tend to have some kind of cliché undertone. And then the ones that really are unique almost never ever get discovered. And it sucks. But for those of you who don't know your book is cliché, this book is for you. Because it seems to me like that is the case for some people. Not all books are going to be entirely unique, but sometimes there needs to be a balance between both sides. And I'm here to help you find it. If there are 500 words in a chapter, can you spot the clichés?

Spray Painted Bananas is a romantic comedy about Amber, a broke temp working in a catering firm in London, who after one too many evenings scrounging free wine from wacky art gallery openings with her best friend Farrell, decides there’s no reason she can’t become a conceptual artist herself. A chance meeting with the wealthy, young art curator, Elliott Frinton-Smith, sets things off in a desirable direction. Now all Amber needs is a brilliant idea to grab the attention of the nation. Spray Painted Bananas explores love and ambition with the touch of the absurd and plenty of bananas. It is OUT NOW published under the title THE TEMP by Harper Collins.

Hudson Ellis is good at his job. Somehow, he manages not to annoy people when he knocks at their doors and asks them to contribute to the charity he works for - instead, he gets them to sign up for sponsoring programmes and fish whatever spare change they have out of their pockets. Even the infamously tough residents of New York City are falling victim to Hudson's easy-going ways and wide smile; that is, until one woman renders him speechless with sarcastic refusals and slams her door in his face. Perhaps Hudson would be able to forget her - if it wasn't for the fact that she lives on the same floor of the next apartment over, and they both have floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for a rather generous view into each other's flats.
