After the loss against the Quincy's king Juha Bach and Ichigo Kurosaki's(human/substitute soul reaper/Quincy/hollow) extreme battle to protect the soul king and lost in the battle. Juha Bach is now ruler of all and ichigo has been missing for 8 years since their battle. A resistance against the king has formed with the former soul reapers along with a few others that survived and during a parade the king introduces a new knight covered in armor whose strangely familiar fighting style as a certain missing friend.
