The only contact you have on a regular basis is with the dead. The infection started out in small towns, far away from any big cities. But then it spread...everywhere. This is the story of two best friends trying to survive the deadly outbreak.

Two dead parents and a brother in the navy, I was practically on my own. I, Vanessa Harrison, am 19 years old and working two jobs to sustain myself while my brother Joseph is away.
