After dealing with the last of the Daleks, the Apocalypse is finally back on the right track. She is one of three Time Ladies left in the universe, no longer the last. Rose Tyler has been changed by the TARDIS, and Jenny still lives. However, as the Apocalypse knows well, nothing lasts forever. A hectic Christmas and a worldwide crisis with the 456 are only tiny issues compared to the prophecy predicting the Apocalypse's death . . . but she doesn't know that her brother is returning, and that he isn't the only one that will be there for her in the end. All she knows is that four knocks are coming her way. But in the words of the Face of Boe, the Apocalypse is not alone. Fifth in the Apocalypse Rising series. *** I do not own anything related to Doctor Who or Torchwood. The Apocalypse, however, belongs to me, as does the concept of the Experiments.

While her family struggles with its issues, Martha Jones tries to pass her medical exams and focus on her life. When a mysterious woman called the Apocalypse offers her the trip of a lifetime, she accepts. One trip turns into more, and Martha helps the Apocalypse through her losses.
