BOOK 1 // Human Error (COMPLETE) BOOK 2 // Human Instinct (IN PROGRESS) *NOW OPTIONED FOR A TV SHOW* "Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness engineered right into their DNA." - William Shakespeare, 1602 (adapted for BioPlus) Astrid Oxford is not normal. Two hundred years into the future, society is recovering from global collapse, and genetic modification has saved the remaining population from a hunger crisis. The alteration of human DNA has been illegal since the technology was developed, but in the heart of New London, a sinister trend has emerged among society's elite. Designer children have been the city's best-kept secret for years, but strange side effects are now appearing as they hit adolescence. When a freak suicide forces modification into the public eye, eighteen-year-old Astrid is about to learn how difficult it is to stay under the radar when you really were born to stand out.

"When all this is over, we'll be a proper family, you'll see." Sirius Black had given a Marauder's promise to Harry Potter, his one and only godson, and he was desperate to stand by his word... but fate played against them. All it took was one stunning curse and a veil of death, to not only have this promise broken, but also have hearts shattered into shreds. Even before death took him as its own, Sirius was left to suffer everyday more than the one before. He had lost himself a long time ago and carried on from monotonous days and nights with zero will to pull himself back to the land of the living. [Speechless pain and haunting memories possess the ability to take down even the most powerful of all, those who were desperate to keep themselves standing upright.] What could have happened in an alternative universe (AU) -different ending scenario to- the Order of the Phoenix, and what would follow after turning points of events are what brought this story into existence. Will death be cruel enough to seperate godfather from his godson, without giving them the chance to live as a true family, at least for once as promised? Is the threat of death something to be endured only once? (The Triumvirate Histories Book One) What do you get when you add thirty eighteen-year-old high school seniors and a two week trip to Paris? One sometimes boring, other times not trip of a lifetime. And when you add your roommates sneaking out and your guy best friend sneaking in to your room? A night of movies and junk food until finally passing out at three in the morning. Now, for a more exciting question, what do you get when you add together a drink thrown in your face, getting lost in the museum you're in as you come back from cleaning yourself up, and walking in on heist in progress? That's right. The kidnapping of Emmy Alexander, who just happened to be me. But when you hear about all of these kidnappings on the news, you expect the worst. Not mine, though. Mine included a secret society that the public, after learning about it a few years before, thought was now a modern myth, searching the globe and stealing back the pieces of a puzzle that we didn't know what information it would hold, and running from another secret society that was bound and determine to stop us no matter what. Oh, and you can't forget John Raymond, who just happened to be the one who kidnapped me. It was technically his fault I was in the middle of this, thrust into a world of secrets. I couldn't complain, though. And no matter what, John couldn't say we didn't make a great heisting team. But when that other secret society came into our crazy, messed-up equation, it added even more danger. But then again, I wanted a little adventure in my life, and I sure as heck got it.
