Ellie was violet, a serene lilac against a raging sea. She, too, burned like paper in a fire because of him and locked herself behind the walls of a birdcage that became her prison. The demons of Hell threatened to swallow her whole. But they found each other, in the wreckage of their shattered relationships. She unlocked her prison cell and he began to see color again.
