Kayden Lee is a girl from New Jersey with newly divorced parents and an annoyingly perfect cousin staying with her for an entire summer. Blaze Merg is a wizard... but not a particularly good one. He's still surprised that he managed to graduate, and finding a job has proved to be a lot more difficult than expected. Their lives become intertwined just as the magical world erupts into chaos. Spells begin failing, people start dying, and the two are magically bound together against their will. As the magical community struggles to survive without magic, Blaze and Kayden try to find a way to break the spell that has physically bound them together. But as they navigate through magical politics, they must also control their growing attraction to one another, which may just be another unfortunate side effect of their spell gone wrong. * * * Awards and Featuring: Ranked #13 in Fantasy (Dec 2016) Wattpad Featured (Dec 2016) Editor's Choice (May 2020) Featured on @ContemporaryLit (Jan 2020) Featured on @Fantasy (Feb 2021) Featured on @WattpadUrbanFantasy (May 2021) Cover image by @TheRainbowPig

Nova was never really fond of superheroes. From their capes to the idea that a woman could serve as little more than a device to further the endless conflict of good and evil, you have to admit she's got a solid argument. It's a bit ironic that she doesn't like them because they seem to love her. After a chance encounter leads her into the arms of the hottest hero around, Spitfire, Nova is thrust into a world of capes and crusaders that just can't seem to let her be. Cover by @Sinadana

"Answer me one thing, Relapse. Please." He gives me a small nod, so I take a deep breath. "Why are you a villian?" I ask. He looks off at the city, the lights becoming fireflys in the darkness. Then he turns back to me staring at me silently, his mouth drawn in a straight line. "Why are you a villain?" I repeat, his blue-gray eyes hold a brewing storm. "Because I have no reason to be a hero." _________________________________________________ My world is far from ordinary. It may sound cliché, but it's true. Normalcy was thrown out the window since our city has living, breathing superheroes. They protect us from the wide range of threats that jeopardize the safety of Crystal City. And yes, they do wear spandex and have stupid catchphrases, but they also do things that the comic books like to avoid. Which seems great, unless you're the very thing they are protecting against. Being the bad guy is cool and all, stealing candy from babies and robbing banks and all that, but it's not all it's cracked up to be either. I'm Lyrah Hodges, and as a part-time supervillian, I know this better than anyone.

I shouldn't have been walking around alone at night. I shouldn't have stopped and watch the obviously crazy man set the building on fire. And I sure of hell shouldn't have accidentally caught his attention. Then maybe, just maybe I wouldn't have been kidnapped by the world's most evil super villain. And then hopefully right now I wouldn't be wishing that he wasn't completely crazy, and wanted to kill every super hero in the world, and that he would, I don't know, take me to the movies, hold my hand as we walked together, or maybe take me to dinner one night. You know normal, cute couple stuff. Instead he likes to kick puppies when no ones watching, dropping me from high buildings, and throwing people into traffic, annoyingly. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't have been taken by someone who's whole mission in life is to watch every super die, and cackle evilly while he thinks of it. Maybe if I had just minded my own business and kept walking, maybe I wouldn't start feeling bad for this super villain. Maybe I wouldn't be questioning everything I've ever learned about him. And God forbid, I wouldn't be loving a villain.

Grace Shields has lived an ordinary life: she lives with her older brother, goes to high school with her two best friends, and, for the most part, deals with ordinary teenage problems like school projects and crushes. Except for the part where she can make lightning crackle in her hands and has an older brother who moonlights as the superhero Tempest, controlling the wind. She trains every day to eventually join her brother out on the streets and become a superhero in her own right. But as an unexpected event sends her life spiraling down a different path, secrets threaten to tear her world apart, along with the mystery of a dangerous threat lurking underneath the surface. As the life she had always dreamed of turns out to be darker than she imagined, she scrambles to hold her life together as her secrets threaten to swallow her whole as the foundation of her life seemingly crumbles from underneath her feet. **SPINOFF TO SHADOW** Being surrounded by Supers when you're not one yourself is pretty strange, to say the least. For one, they're always running off to save some damsel in distress or rescue a kitten from a tree. That means that I have to share my notes from chemistry class with them when they miss school. For another, they might start talking about things that you can't relate to. "Oh, man. The feeling of a bird crapping on your face while you're flying three hundred miles per hour over the thousand foot skyscrapers? Horrible." Lastly, you kind of get left out of the Super loop. You know, that gossip of the Round Table that's only shared between Supers? Yeah. I'm that outsider. But the difference is that this time, I think I didn't just know a few things that could help the superheroes out. I knew enough to become a spy for them. My name is Cameron Knight, but the rest of the world will know me as Inferno. _________________________ Cameron Knight had a rough childhood, sculpting her into a slightly reckless teenager when she grew up. When she was taken under the cloaks of two superheroes eight and a half years ago, she got used to the fact that her life wasn't normal and it never would be. She was surrounded by Supers wherever she went, between her adopted parents and her best friend. She didn't think her own apartment would fall victim to another Super, or that it would be a villain. "I never wanted to be a superhero. But I guess being a regular old hero every once in a while isn't so bad."

Every city has its claim to fame and for the city of Cytropolis it's their superheroes. But unlike the cities of Gotham and Central City, this isn't a good thing. Cytropolis is known far and wide as the city with the clumsiest and least influential superheroes ever. But it never mattered that much since the super villains were just as bad. That is, until recently when the villains decided to smarten up and open a super villain academy to train the newest generation (something that never occurred to the heroes). Luckily for them, Matt Miller has arrived. He may seem like an average, normal (even bordering on boring) seventeen-year-old boy, but when are things ever what they seem? He may be apathetic and bitter but he has super powers and he's kind of, well, powerful. He's the heroes only hope against the newest villain in town, Sinister Shadow, and he has no choice but to lend a hand (but he refuses to wear tights while he does it, he draws the line at tights). And with Matt's help (along with his little sister turned sidekick), the heroes just might win. *cover by @soundthealarm*
