He’d been watching her for the duration of well over an hour.
Or, rather, to be more precise, ever since their flight to Detroit had been delayed due to inclement weather.
The passengers had been forced to find a place on the floor to spend the night. It was either that or spend fifty bucks on a hotel for four hours, which Jack didn’t think would be at all worth it. So, like eighty percent of the rest of the passengers had done, he’d found a spot by the wide windows, using his old ratty Trans backpack as an uncomfortable pillow, crossed his arms over his hoodie clad chest, sat back, and watched.
Jack would like to think he’s a decent people-watcher.
