Unedited story* 21-year-old Persephone(who actually goes by Steffi since no one can spell or say her name correctly) is starting college. She's is finally two hours away from her overbearing mother, and able to live on her own. The first day, as she's walking through the forest, she meets a stranger on the bench. Dark hair, bright eyes, her stomach filled with butterflies. She was drawn to the stranger that sat on the bench. Connecting to him, they soon see each other more and more. Little did she know, it's the God of the underworld, and he's falling in love with her every second of the day. This is the story of Hades and Persephone. A Hades/Persephone retelling. How often do you catch yourself wondering how somebody's touch would feel? Persephone, The bringer of Spring and Queen of the Underworld, book one of The Goddess series. Persephone was a beautiful young hearted soul. Her hair was as red as roses and bright as the sun. Her eyes were green like nature blooming as she touched the ground with her feet. Everywhere Persephone walked flowers sprouted from the ground. She sang songs to the birds and to the trees, telling secretes of little thing. She was her mothers favorite child. She always sat on her mothers lap as she did her work on her golden thrown. When her mother and Persephone whisked down to earth she would create new plants that were different colors and bloomed with new sweet fruits. But even someone as admirable as Persephone, could never go unnoticed by the Gods. One in particular seems to have taken an interest.

Persephone is a young goddess, trying to make her own way in life. Thing is, her mother won't let her. She is convinced that some god will seduce her and leave her as a husk, or take her away from her forever. Persephone wants her freedom, and to find love. Hades is a quiet man who enjoys the small things in life. When he first glimpses Persephone, his mind is overrun. They soon meet and become fast friends. Will they be able to find happiness?

Persephone has already been kidnapped by Hades, her unwanted and unexpected suitor. Demeter has already cast a famine on all the humans in her grief. Hades struggles to win Persephone over...but perhaps Persephone has always been meant to be with him, and she wasn't an innocent as she was thought she was...
