If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

Reece Bremer goes through life with a scowl and cold personality. Jessica Andrews goes through life with a glowing smile and positive outlook. Reece looks at life with dull, judgmental eyes that make him hate the world and the people living in it. Jessica, well... She looks at life through a camera. Literally. They're polar opposites, and that's what sparks Reece's immediate hate for Jessica the moment they meet. All he sees is a girl with the best life, put in the category of those who get everything handed to them on a silver platter. But who says Jessica's life is like that? Just like a photograph, there's more to the story than what you see. Stumbling across one of Jessica's hidden portfolio might reveal that her happiness isn't all that true. Behind that smile and each picture she takes, holds a thousand words of a very big secret - one that Reece is determined to find out. And who knows? It just might change everything between them. cover by dysanic || 2015 watty's winner for talk of the town ||

She's gone. She's gone. How can she just be gone? She could be hurt or dead, who knows. Fox's vision blurred and her knees felt weak. Fear. Deep, uncontrollable fear, so raw it hurt, gripped her chest. She could feel her heart hammering and her throat was tightening. She tried to keep herself from hyperventilating, but couldn't seem to get enough oxygen into her lungs. Neck breaking out in a sweat, she shuddered uncontrollably. No, no, no, not now. Don't panic now. You haven't had an attack in years! Don't break that record now, not in front of all these people! But it was no use. Fox could feel the panic settling in, suffocating her. The faces of the dozens of people blurred together, drowning her. Why did there have to be so many of them? She could face down monstrous hydras, cyclopes, gorgons, even sirens without the slightest fear, but somehow a large crowd of people was enough to make her break out into a cold sweat. But it wasn't the horde that was terrifying her at the moment, though they certainly weren't helping any. The only face that filled her vision at the moment was Aviva's. Oh, gods. Not her. Please not her. I can't lose her too. Not after- "I-I can't breathe." ****** When Fox's little sister Aviva gets kidnapped from her home in Camp Jupiter and held for ransom, Fox will do anything to save her. Along with her friends, Fox forms uneasy alliances in a desperate attempt to find her. What happens when Greeks and Romans clash once again? Will they be able to set aside their differences and work together? ****** This is a fanfiction. All rights go to our humble and fearless leader, Uncle Rick.

Suddenly, I felt a stranger feeling enter my hands. Like as if my anger had taken form into blue flames of fire. My eyes widened as I saw it. Fire engulfing every single one of them and surrounding my staff and hands. When the smoke cleared, I looked around slowly. Burn marks covered the floor and A.I.s while some were no more than ashes. "You're a Bearer." "I know and I don't want this! I never did! Why am I a Bearer?! Why did I not know for so many years?!?!" She looked at me with a compassionate gaze. "Dianne, did you think anyone wants this? The power that we all share?" I stopped. My hands were still shaking as we floated weightlessly in the strange space she brought me in. She took my hands and pulled me closer. "But the Creator made us this way for a reason. Fight now, Dianne, and you will receive the answers you ask for. May the Creator watch over you now." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An introverted, thoughtful girl named Dianne lives peacefully with her family on the far distant planet Tamer in the year 4707 PL. Secretly, she dreams of attending Skylar Academy and joining the infamous Star Squad, a special forces operation forged from the Academy. One day, her wish comes true but discovers another secret of her own along the way. Now she must adjust to her new life at the Academy and control this newfound discovery and uncover her true path.
