Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens happened to be roommates in college, but one night led Laurens to stumble back to the dorm, drunk, and crawl into bed with Alexander. Mornings pass with no recognition of that night, but as more college parties occur, and more shots are taken, the more Alex discovers about his friend John Laurens. Thomas was amazing, interesting, and charismatic. James was definitely the opposite of all of those. Having been friends for a while now, James still doesn't understand how someone like Thomas would want to be around him. James feels a great love for Thomas, but understands he will never deserve someone so perfect. ~~~ So I intended this to be like...a bunch of cute events happening that eventually segway into the whole letter thing, but clearly that idea was thrown out the window.
