This is a different version of Bates Motel, starting with Norma right after she has married Sam Bates. The story is better than the description.

Set after 4x03. Little different timeline from the show and not as sappy as my other stories but it will pay off if you're patient ;)

Sequel to Time To Pretend (A Vestor Story). If you haven't read that...you should. Anyways, this is placed about a year after the finale of Season Five of Bates Motel. I do not own Bates Motel. If I did, it would NEVER END!!!

Based from the events of 4x02 - after escorting Norman to Pineview, Alex has a strong urge to go back to check on Norma. So, once again, he is drawn back to the Bates house. With Norma now having to live alone and cope with the burden of her son being taken away from her, she finds unexpected comfort in the closed off stoic Sheriff that is Alex Romero. (a collaboration between @carbonellromero and @farmigabates on twitter. Each break between each character is defined with an "-" mark, which means both writers)

Alex meets Norma and they start seeing each other. But after a while he starts to realize that there is something very off about her. She's keeping something from him. She's keeping something from everyone. (This will only be about 7 or 8 chapters long).

Set back in the 1900's. Norma Bates is married to a man named Sam Bates who is a captain of the army. She and her two sons fend for themselves for the most part until a certain dark eyed man changes their world. I thought of this idea whilst watching Boy In The Striped Pajamas if that says anything.
