Everyone at school knows Andrew Jennings. Missing an arm. Openly gay. But when he meets star athlete Ryan Sullivan in therapy, can friendship lead to more? ***** When Andrew 'Jacky' Jennings ends up in therapy after an English assignment gone wrong, he doesn't expect to find his high school's star athlete, Ryan Sullivan, sitting in the same waiting room. After all, he and Ryan couldn't be more different: football captain, future valedictorian, and all-around nice guy, Ryan is the school's golden boy, while Andrew is known for his permanent snarl, being openly gay, and losing his left arm (along with his father and sister) in a car accident. But when Andrew learns they actually have a lot in common, he's surprised to see past the enigma that is Ryan Sullivan and his seemingly perfect life. And as the two boys begin to connect over their shared grief, depression, and teenage angst, they might just discover a little pocket of happiness for themselves -- if they're willing to fight for it. *Editing this story so that i can come back and continue writing it as of 12/17/25* "Merfolk are more dangerous then sirens, in my opinion. Sirens are pretty words and smiles, and they just drown you before eating you. Merfolk aren't as kind. I once watched one jump all the way up to the ship railing, grab a man, and literally eat him alive while we had to watch and listen to his screams. By the time that mer went back into the water there was only half a man left. Blood and pieces of flesh everywhere. That was a female, what many would claim is the weaker of their species. The males are rarely seen but they say you better hope you don't see one. They say when the males come up, they're usually looking to feed or breed. If he sets his sight on you there's an eighty percent chance of you dying before your journey ends, I imagine." Laurence is about to depart on his first voyage, unaware of how it will change his life forever. Mer x Human Sailor short story. R18 Explicit.

Twenty-two year old nursing student Tobi Knight is thrown in a loop after esteemed fashion mogul Ms. Larissa Bijou stumbles upon him working behind the register of a cafe. Larissa is more than enthralled to discover the devastatingly handsome, adventurous, and ardent-hearted young man during her obligatory coffee break -- the 'perfect fit', as she describes him, for her newest, most daring photoshoot. She's quick to reach a perfectly manicured hand inside her leather designer bag and hand Tobi a card -- a business card for a nationally established modeling agency, Washington Models. Unmistakably, it's a job offer. Taken aback by Ms. Bijou's staggering offer (and ceaseless pleading), Tobi is hesitant. How does a devoted 'murse'-in-training (male nurse) with a knack for physical pursuits qualify as the next face for a fashion spread? Surely Tobi is aware that no amount of medical expertise or athletic endurance will grace him with the necessary aesthetics of fashion and modeling. More important, will he even get along with this 'Toni' De Luca that Ms. Larissa says will be his future partner? Who the hell is this guy anyway? And what did Tobi just get himself into? His mind is reeling with curiosity.
