But behind closed doors, he is still living in the shadow of a loss that altered the course of his life, a man haunted by a tragedy he had never escaped. Then Nooriyyah, Gentle yet quietly resilient, never expected her life to become intertwined with a man carrying so much pain. What begins as an unexpected connection soon challenges everything they thought they knew about healing, trust, and love. As old scars reopen, Nabeel must confront the past he has spent years running from, while Nooriyyah must decide whether loving someone broken is worth the cost. 🌱 🌱 🌱 A Love Decreed is a heartfelt Muslim romance about grief, healing, second chances, and discovering that love is not always the cure but sometimes it is the reason we finally choose to heal. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 A/N: wrote this book as a teenager with no clue as to what it'll become , my first ever book here🥹 I'm so grateful to every single one of you that gave me a chance to share my super cliche story. The door flung open into the dark room, lightening struck the dark sky shining a little light on the shirtless man that stood by the doorway. "Who's there" my shaky voice masked with fear asked. Paying a deaf ear to my question he walked deeper into the room towards my bed as my shaky hands drew the covers higher over my whimpering self, right up to my nose. "Khalil?" my voice sounded weird coming through the thick duvet, it felt awkward calling his name I mean am I even allowed to call him that? I was more scared now that I knew who it was. What was he doing in room? A loud thunder sound came as he sat beside me, a little too close. Does this man know he's shirtless and in my room at eleven p.m? "Have you chosen a surrogate?" his thick voice cut through the sound of raindrops and my train of thoughts. I slowly shook my head at him. "Relax"He raised his hand to my face which was still covered halfway and slowly dragged down the covers down to my abdomen revealing my bare arms in my spaghetti strap v neck nightwear. I scanned the room for my robe and found it hanging on the coat rack in the far end of my room, I would get up to get it but my nightgown didn't really qualify as a gown. I watched his eyes travel up my body landing on my chest, his Adams apple bobbed up. He shut his eyes and when he opened them, they landed on mine sending shivers down my spine...
