COMPLETED. It was a day just like any other, until a stranger jumps into Emily's car and puts a gun to her head. She doesn't know what to do, but as she drives she begins to realize that maybe the handsome stranger beside her isn't some hardened criminal. Maybe he's a decent guy who's in over his head. Tom has no idea what he's doing. He's never hurt anyone before, but he's desperate and the attractive woman he's hijacked is his only hope to save his life. It might be the closed quarters, the stress of the situation or the chemistry between them, but as they embark on their adventure neither can keep their minds in a clean place. *** Warning: story contains graphic language, strong sexual content and some violence. 18+ only ** I am a professional author, but this novel has been edited by me and not by an editing team. I will do my absolute best to make sure that it is error free and perfect, but something may slip past me. * I hope you enjoy it and would love to hear your thoughts!

[SAMPLE ONLY. PUBLISHED IN OCTOBER 2016] - LINK TO PURCHASE E-BOOK ON MY MESSAGE BOARD! "Why are you being nice to me? I'm a freak, I'm blind," Riley had once asked her, but Ellie could never answer that question, and she would never be able to. Ellie Burke is just this simple town girl, who will never look at the wrong way about anyone. Moving to Florida means everything to her - she could turn over a new leaf, start a new life, and get the chance to actually be someone -and not just this useless nerdy girl. Everything's going well for her until she meets this boy in her English class - and he's the most interesting, unique person Ellie has ever met. The boy who lost his sight. She's going to fight for what her heart wants every step of the way. This is Ellie's story, and it's going to be one bumpy, complicated romance that's nothing like the fairy tales say. A story of hope, trust and what true love really means.

"Do you want to talk? You know, about everything?" Evan asks. He's staring up at the star-covered sky as he holds our brown bag of French fries. I finish my sip of my vanilla milkshake despite not wanting to stop and follow his gaze. The stars twinkle against the black and wish I had brought my camera. Somehow I thought that bringing it on our maybe-maybe-not date wasn't appropriate. "I don't know," I smile, "everything seems like a lot of talking." Alabama Reed has fooled herself into thinking that this could work and she knows it. With an accident she's trying to downplay and a loss she can't seem to forget, things aren't looking good. So Bam's parents do the only thing they can think of; they take their daughter and drive her halfway across the country to sleepy Mermaid Bay to live in an empty cottage for the summer. Things quickly start looking up when Bam realizes the newspapers don't cover news that happens hours away, but as soon as she starts making friends and secrets of her past start unraveling, Bam finds out that you can't always run from your past - even if you actually run away. A 22 year old psychopath draws us into a world of chaos, cynicism and callous murder.
