Perhaps the motivation is to protect his family, or, perhaps, the motive is revenge on the creature that lays in the abyss, waiting to strike at any moment. Or perhaps, he wishes to accomplish both and understand the contract set by him and Zhongli years ago despite not remembering the details. Childe, Tartaglia, the Eleventh of the Fatui Harbingers, is the only Omega to ever attain the rank, with a certain condition: if he is ever defeated by an Alpha, he will become their mate. No Alpha could ever defeat him, until a certain former god swiftly crushes him. However, Zhongli refuses to mate him!
