Merlin Drako, a mysterious Mage of Fairytail who only uses her fists to fight, yet she has managed to place herself in the "Strongest Member of Fairytail" spot. Although she doesn't use it, she has magic, and it's powerful, nonetheless. After coming back from Tenrou, Romeo explains to them about the Grand Magic Games, upon hearing, they decided to enter, as Gramps really wanted the $30,000,000 reward, oh, and to bring Fairytail back up to the top, of course. Merlin participates and Fairytail eventually wins, but it all goes to hell when Princess Hisui opens the Eclipse Gate. Merlin was then faces with the Dragon of Invincibility, she tried her best to fight it off, but it keeps coming back.
