(COMPLETED) This is for a writing competition my school is having. It's a short story thing and it's only going to be a one chaptered story, a long chapter though. I hope you enjoy the story, and tell me your ideas about it. ------------------------------------------- Beth is a regular student, a few friends, average grades, your average 7th grader. Max is your average outcast, a weirdo, lonely, bullied. Beth didn't pay any attention to him, no one did. If you did you were probably picking on him. That's how everyone treated him. One day though, Beth is partnered up with him, and learns something no one else knows.

Life and Death are very, very different. Life enjoys simple things. The grass, the sun, wilderness. Death is a wild card. Death enjoys almost nothing, except for looking at life. Watching life. They're enemy's, but there's something about them. Something interesting that shouldn't be shared with things like them.

James and his daughter Abby move to a new neighborhood, which is basically a nightmare. On James's part anyways. He doesn't want to go out, meet new people, or even get out of bed. If he could, he wouldn't breath either. It turns out his sulking had covered up what a weird neighborhood it is. The weird and unique neighbors are the first thing he notices. That and the delicious banana bread at the local bakery. In the end of this humor based book, it's about family. The one's you love and do anything to protect them. The ones that make you unintentionally weak.
