Highest Ranking #2 Previously titled Rising From The Ashes This is a tale of the righteousness of evil and the treachery of good... Treachery, deceit and betrayal are as vital as oxygen to fulfil the destiny of the victorious. The empire of India, a perfect blend of cultures, traditions and bliss, captures the heart of every soul setting feet on its lands. And being born and brought up with the blood of their motherland roaming in their veins, Ashwarth and Svaksha posses a very special place for their India in their hearts. Their India! With its extreme eloquence, this region being predominantly ruled by two dynasties that are at anything but peace with each other was scarred by many eyes. Foreign invasions were a thing easily handled but, it always is the battle which ranged within that would bring about destruction, isn't it? Follow the flow of the mighty Vishwambara, from places where deceit has to be added as a daily dose with food and oxygen to survive and to places where one is ready to succumb to death to prove their loyalty. The land of India, where you never know who is going to stab you next, finds its destiny rewritten by its prospective rulers. But the fate of the victorious is written with the blood of the vanquished, isn't it? And the suppressed are either extremely right or entirely wrong. What if they are actual humans like us, who are neither the plastic models of extreme righteousness nor the pitch black epitomes of pure evil? There sure is difference between your evil and mine, isn't it? Cover credits: @All_AboutAssymetry

Sita is the consort of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Sri Maha Vishnu, in Hindu mythology. Sita is one of the main characters in the Ramayana, a major Hindu epic. Born in Sitamarhi, Sita was taken to Janakpur soon after her birth by her father, Maharaja Janak. Sita is considered to be one of the Sreshta Naris and is respected as the epitome of all womanly virtues for Hindu women. Sita is also considered an avatar of Lakshmi, and the consort of Sri Vishnu during the Treta Yuga. Sita is indeed the ideal example of a woman and possesses all the good qualities that a traditional Indian woman is expected to possess. She was the ideal daughter to her parents, ideal wife to her husband, Rama, and the ideal mother to her twins, Luv and Kush. Sita had to undergo a lot of trials and tribulations in her marital life and it was her courage, chastity and adherence to Dharma that finally made her emerge the ultimate winner.

Arjun was one of the five Pandava brothers of the Mahabharat epic. He was born to Kunti and King Pandu with the energy of Indra, the leader of the gods. At a very young age he got acclaim for the sincerity and skill in archery. He was known for his steadfastness and single mindedness in pursuing his goals. He was instrumental in winning Draupadi in a contest for himself and his brothers as their joint wife. He also married Subadhra the sister of Krishna and Balaram and kept his friendship with them forever. Lord Krishna became his mentor and guide for the rest of his life. He was known by different names or rather titles such as Phaalgun, Keerti, Paartha, Dhanajaya and so on. Arjun serves as an example of a great human being, a dutiful householder, a loyal brother, a great warrior, a devout husband and a sincere devotee of God.

Hey everybody! This is a very humble effort on my part to capture the events of Krishna's Kalia( sometimes called Kaalinga) Narthan. It narrates how Krishna conquered the mighty, multi-headed serpent, Kalia. Excuse the typos! Please vote and comment! Appreciate your valuable thoughts and feedback! Apologies for anything that's factually incorrect.. there are many versions of this story and I have presented one of the more popular versions.... Thank you! - Padmasani
