"The thing is, I didn't expect to be like this," he says. The sunlight bounces off his golden hair, and it seems as if it's glowing. "Didn't expect what?" He smiles coyly, and all at once he seems more sure of himself than ever before. "I went wrong somewhere. I'm not supposed to feel this way. About the arena, about the people I'm hurting in here, and about you. But I do." "We're Careers. They don't expect us to feel anything," I say softly, knowing the risk those words carry even before I say them out loud. But I don't care. "Then they got us wrong." The Careers of the 74th Hunger Games were more than ruthless killers. Katniss knew them as the villains, bred to kill, ready to win. But this was far from the truth... ||#3 in #CLATO|| ||#1 in #GLARVEL|| (This is a Glarvel/Clato fanfic. I'm also changing the story of the original Hunger Games books) Currently editing and improving my writing style. NOT changing anything about the story/characters/events, so don't worry! It's exactly the same book, just written slightly better :) **THE HUNGER GAMES BELONGS TO SUZANNE COLLINS, AND SO DO MOST OF THE CHARACTERS** Cover image not mine

"And now we honour our fiftieth anniversary. As a reminder that two rebels died for each Capitol citizen, every district will be required to send twice as many tributes." Melia Cressview. Ember Cressview. Bailey Birling. Haymitch Abernathy. All from District 12. All from the Seam. All in the Hunger Games. They all see it as a death sentence. Who wouldn't? Being forced, along with forty-four other boys and girls, to fight to the death in a horrific live television event. They each have their own qualities that could help or harm their chances of survival in the arena. But what they all have in common is a steely determination that will see them through the Games as far as they can get. They won't give up. They won't be picked on. They're strong, and they'll do everything in their power to survive, no matter the odds. Highest Rank: ~#774 in Action (being an idiot, I forgot to write it down.)

What would have happened if Katniss didn't take Prim's spot in The Hunger Games? Would anything be any different? Would a new story unfold? This is my version. *WARNING: Things have been changed. Don't say I didn't warn you.*

What if Peeta and Katniss never teamed up? What if Katniss finds trust in the most unlikely person? When Katniss volunteers for her sister, her only thought is to make it back to Prim. But what if another tribute catches her eye? Can she survive the Hunger Games? Can she figure out her mixed feelings for Cato? From the book: "So I want to know what you think about something. " I say slowly. He looks up curiously. " What is it Katniss? " he asks looking into my eyes. I feel immediately guilty for what I am about to say, especially since he saved my life by giving me bread. "So I have been thinking this over in my head and it seems that this is the only choice I have in order to make it home to Prim." I start. "Katniss?..." He says. He doesn't like what I am saying and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. "I know you want to make it back home to your family and I know that you are a part of my District, but I need to make it home to Prim!" I say, tears threatening to fall, I feel awful for what I am doing. Peeta looked extremely worried by this point. "What's wrong? What happened- " I cut him off " I'm... I'm... joining...the careers."

We know how the Hunger Games goes- Katniss volunteers for her younger sister and wins the games, escapes the Quell, and wins the rebellion. Well guess what, that never happened. Not in this account, anyways. Instead, Katniss never volunteered for Prim, and our little brave Primrose Everdeen won the games at age 12 and escapes the Quarter Quell. But it's not over. This is Prim's story, Mockingjay: Prim. This is a fan-fiction based on the novel "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. *I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. What if Katniss never volunteered for Prim? What would her story be like? Most likely, she would have been killed by one of the career tributes. But what if the odds really are in her favor? Read Prim's story, as she is picked for the 74th annual Hunger Games to fight to the death. This is a fan-fiction story based on the novel "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. *Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. This is The Hunger Games from Clove's point of view. Clove volunteers to be a part of the 74th Hunger Games, she's been training ever since she was a kid, but things don't go according to what she plans. A major twist happens, something Clove never thought would happen. Clove makes decisions she never thought she'd make. The strangest alliances are formed. Will Clove win the 74th Hunger Games? Will everything actually go according to her plan? So, this story isn't actually following The Hunger Games. It also follows more of the movie rather than the book. The death orders are different, different things happen and I have changed the story. It's not only from Clove's POV, but it is different from the real Hunger Games. Hope you enjoy the twists :)
