In a world where your soulmate is determined by their favorite song, people have gone, and continue to go, to extreme lengths to find their other half. Lydia Harper has known her favorite song since she was twelve years old. She remembers the exact moment she decided - when she heard the way the gentle strumming of the guitar lead into the clever lyricism and experienced the way the song resonated with her. She loved how soft it was, like a cloud wrapping around her in a poetic spiral, and how she could feel so at ease even while the words hit so hard. The music flowed through her and lit her up in a way she didn't know was possible. But she doesn't want to rush fate. She just wants her cards to fall as they should. It's a lot harder than it should be when fate is out against her.

"I want to grow up" Did you say it when you were a kid? I know I did. Have you regretted growing up at some point in your life? Have you wished you could be a careless child once again? I know you have. Everyone has. The more you grow the bigger the challenges, the obstacles, the pain. Life gets serious. You get serious. You forget to smile at the morning sun shining down your face. You are too absorved by your problems to notice the beautiful world surrounding you. And when life gets hard, you wish more than anything to turn back in time and be that small child who did not know anything when he said "I want to grow up"

This book includes free verse poems and laments about depression, sadness, loss, love and the world around us all written by myself. These poems rotate between topics of my dead loved ones, the horrible world we live in, the one I love, and other things that I thought was necessary to write about. I think you will be able to relate to a lot of these poems and if you are depressed or if you just like poetry I suggest that you read this book. I am aware of the fact that I will never become the great writer I have dreamed of, and I know that my writing isn't that great. But if I can change at least one life with my words than I will be more than happy. So please take in mind that this book is the first one I have ever written. Please just bear with me till the end. *Note that everything in this book is written by me, all credit goes to me. You are free to use any of my poems as long as you include my name and credit.
