Aus Dankbarkeit schließt sie sich kurzerhand Luffys Rettungstrupp an und hilft ihm, Ace von dessen Todesstrafe zu befreien. Dabei zeigt sie ihre furchteinflößende Gnadenlosigkeit Gegnern gegenüber und räumt mit Hilfe ihrer Teufelsfrucht den Marinegroßadmiral Sakazuki Akainu aus dem Weg, welcher selbst eine Magma-Frucht vom Typ Logia nutzt. Damit bewahrt sie Ace und Luffy vor dem sicheren Tod. Doch als die Feuerfaust sich nach dem Kampf bei der jungen orangehaarigen Frau bedanken will, ist diese spurlos verschwunden und so beschließt der Pirat, Lucy den Seeteufel um jeden Preis zu finden. Der Anfang von einem spannenden Abenteuer nimmt seinen Lauf. Alle Charaktere bis auf die Black Revenge Piraten entsprangen nicht aus meinem Kopf und sind somit nicht mein eigenes geistiges Eigentum!
