"Kitsune" A.K.A Naruto, the greatest leader the ANBU has ever seen, is graceful, silent, and DEADLY, disposing of his enemies in mere seconds. He has killed thousands of enemies in a giant spray of blood, earning the nickname, "The Crimson Fox". Only the ANBU and the Samdaime Hokage know his true identity. One day the Hokage gives him a mission that requires him to play a child at the Academy. Naruto was still being abused as usual and he has to take the insults from his comrades as well. He can feel the mask he put on so carefully start to shatter. It was killing him on the inside. He self-harms and no one could hear his cries for help. They all either chose to ignore it or add more pain and misery to his life. He couldn't take it anymore so he tried to commit suicide. Naruto is neglect for his sister Naruko. Naruko holds the kyuubi within her, this is the very reason they neglect Naruto. Naruto decides since his parents don't remember to train him, he will just train himself. But what only Naruto knows is that he holds the soul of the kyuubi since a small baby can't hold the full kyuubi. Naruto trains and makes it to Anbu when he is 7. From there he was partnered with Kakashi, Itachi, Anko and Yugao. Everyone in Anbu knew who Naruto was and what had happened with him and his parents. Naruto was given an undercover mission by the Hokage to protect Sasuke Uchiha. Itachi was thought to be the person who killed the Uchiha but what if it wasn't him but someone the village trusts?

This fic is currently abandoned but may be rewritten in the future. Original description: What if Naruto was blinded at a young age?
