These include weird phone calls and a black limousine that always seems to be following her every move. The people in the limo turn out to be secret agents of an organization called the S.A.O.A, the Secret Agents Organization of America, which is a top secret organization run by the C.I.A. Olivia’s life turns upside down when two people - a friendly female agent identified as Agent 7, and Agent 12, a handsome dark-haired blue-eyed agent, gives her answers to nearly all her questions about these problems. The solution? To become a member of the S.A.O.A.  Her mission is to go undercover as a student at a nearby high school and find people that have formed an alliance with her mother’s killer. She soon becomes close friends with a boy that seems to like her for her. But what he doesn't know is that who he believed to be Rebecca Thompson is actually Olivia Poole, the girl who everyone knows went missing. People are disappearing fast, and the wanted killer is still out there. So Olivia has no choice. She has to face pain, danger, and heartbreak. She has to become Agent 13.

Nat has always joked about one of her best friends, Molly, being a top-secret CIA agent. After all, it always fit in with her many absences from school, distant trips on the weekends, and unexplained injuries. But Nat never considered the truth behind those jokes, because how could someone from an all-girl, Catholic school that wore saddle shoes possibly do any wrong? And then one day in algebra-two, when a gun is shoved in her face, everything she thought she knew about Molly flies out the window. With the help of her other best friend Kate and, of course, several attractive males, Nat finds herself caught up in a plot of kidnappings, gunshots, and high-scale adventure, all taking place right inside what she had thought was her comfort zone. Spies in saddles? Who'd have thought!

But there's something wrong. Barnes doesn't resist Amber's efforts in dragging him across the country as another group of pursuers chases the two in an effort to dispose of herself and Barnes.
