I, Lois Mai Reynolds, am all kinds of clumsy. I fall over flat surfaces. I drop expensive vases, and miraculously find ways to trip over thin air. Not a day has passed by when I'm not wearing a Band-Aid for some kind of accident that I've endured, and it's stooped to the level now that my parents call me King Kong and joke about having warning signs and safety tape around my bedroom door. Once upon a time, I used to think of that as a laughing matter, but not anymore. Not since I almost killed my crush's mom. Suddenly, being compared to a giant gorilla of mass destruction doesn't actually seem that crazy. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED #11 Romance

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!) This story is copyright and built from my own imagination. This book was a special request from someone who helped me a lot. This viewpoint has less action than the original. The cover was made by @All_AboutAssymetry. A huge thanks to her! Copyright September 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. "Go on that Bermuda Triangle tour, they said. It'll be fun, they said." Fun isn't the word Penelope Orson would use to describe her predicament. However, when her rescue comes in the form of a very strange young man, she questions if she'd rather take her chances. ~~~~~ The short story version of this won nine awards, including: ~The Flower's Awards: winner of Short Story ~The Wave Awards: first place in Short Story and third overall Highest ranks: #2 in sci-fi and #35 in romance sci-fi | adventure | chick-lit | romance | mystery | aliens

When five normal teenagers are cursed with the Elements of the Pentagon, they suddenly find themselves wielded with the most powerful weapon they could have ever imagined—they can destroy the world. Gathered under the evil scheming of Professor Vladislav, the Pentalements will only need the cosmic energy radiated from the Caesarean Comet before the Elements inside them will break loose and take control over their very bodies. By then, apocalypse would have made its descent to Earth, and subsequently marks the annihilation of humankind. Thus, when the Lead Element, Lightning, triggers an atomic-bomb ferocity explosion in Detroit and killing himself in the process, Nathan, the Fire Element, knows that he has to act. After two years of hiding and concealing his identity, Nathan embarks on a journey in search of the remaining three Elements. To make things worse, he has both the FBI and the army hot on his tail, not to mention the evil Prof Vlad who might show up at any moment and have him abducted. Will Nathan manage to gather with the remaining Elements in order to survive the multiple threats targeted at them? Will the Pentalements succeed in defeating the Elements within their body and stop Prof Vlad from destroying the world? Or would they succumb to the ecstasy and invulnerability of giving in to their Elements? Flip the page to have all your answers solved, and get thrilled to your roots by the amazing and action-packed adventure that awaits you in this novel! Note: I wrote this novel when I was 16 and self-published it, so any comments, preferably constructive ones, are gladly appreciated! As this is my first book, the style and quality isn't as good as what I wanted it to be, so if you want to check out some of my more recent works, try "Someone's In My Head". It's way better than this. ;)

After many years, many edits, and over 500k reads on Wattpad, The Divide is finally published on Amazon! It's 2028, and Earth has been under attack by an alien species for two years. This human-like alien species, called Emigres, left their planet to start over after ruining it with constant nuclear war. Looking much like us, the only physical difference between humans and Emigres are that the Emigres have violet eyes. After wiping out much of the human race, the Emigres closed off an area of land in the United States and called it the Reserve. Any humans who surrender will be placed in there, and anyone who refuses to surrender is immediately killed. 18-year-old Rachel Collins has spent the last two years in the Reserve, but talk about a group of humans building an army outside the walls has her curious to see what lies beyond them. When her father escapes to join the rebels, Rachel plans her escape as well. What are the Emigres planning, and will the rebels be able to stop it? Rachel is about to find out, and only one thing is certain: the end of our world is the beginning of theirs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Book One in the Soldiers of the Earth series RANKED #8 IN SCIENCE FICTION SELECTED BY THE 5TH WAVE MOVIE FOR STRONG FEMALE LEAD CHOSEN AS WATTPAD BOOK OF THE WEEK: http://cbybookclub.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/book-of-week-wattpad_11.html
