There is a saying that if you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere in the world. Nigerians are indeed very resilient, and her leaders have exploited this and the country's resources; Until a vigilante emerged.
It was a typical day at work for Detective Lawal. His team had all the pieces of evidence they needed to prosecute people in government or their associates but the arrest warrant is never approved by the higher-ups. The elites protect one another, at least until they have a fall out then all their dirty secrets are made public. Detective Lawal had a private source who called himself Nemesis. Nemesis was consistent with evidence against people in power and after a thorough investigation by Lawal's team, these pieces of evidence and allegations were always true but the higher-ups never approved an arrest or search warrant.
Nemesis got frustrated and took matters into his hands.
One by one, bodies of political leaders began to drop and the citizens of Nigeria were happy that a saviour found them. With each political death, videos, audio, pictures, and documents of their errors and corruption were released to the public, alongside cryptic bible verses with a clue of the next victim. The public supported Nemesis but the leaders were scared and wanted him dead. Nobody knew anything about Nemesis, no one except Lawal who had his untraceable email address.
With a price on Nemesis' head, Lawal's team tasked to catch him, and government-commissioned assassins to kill him, Nemesis is determined to cleanse the political scene of Nigeria and will not stop till he gets every political leader judged; after all it is an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and a life for a life.
