In the year 2019, in the USA. A strange phenomenon called, "Blackout," is sweeping the nation. It causes dozens of people to riot, panic, commit suicide, steal, whatever and it seems to happen at random. Then a detective from Venice, Italy named Joshua Joplin flies from across the sea to investigate. Little did he know, he ended up in a giant Stand conspiracy. In this hellhole, he will have to fend off against Stand users to get to the root of Blackout with the help of his own Stand, Coldplay.

Natalie "Nat" Baker was a great jockey. Starting at the age of 6, she had a rough start, but grew to possibly be the greatest female jockey in all of Europe. But there were 2 people she could never beat: Diego Brando and her best friend Johnny Joestar. She and Johnny became more than just friends, but he left for America soon after. After his accident, their relationship changed forever. She hadn't seen him in years, nor had she looked for him, or Diego. Until they signed up for the Steel Ball Run, Nat racing for her family and her own problems. But the race wasn't anything like what they thought it would be. All the participants who knew the truth, including Nat, would have their lives changed forever. Or taken away.
