Nightmare stared at the bright, golden skeleton in front of him. The skeleton before him sat, hands hosting themselves up as they stared up at Nightmare. Worry turned to shock in those eyelights that still haunt Nightmare's dreams. "You're not my Dream..." Nightmare said dumbly, staring at the golden (wingless) skeleton. The smaller was staring back at him, eyesockets wide with equal shock. Their hand clenching the fabric of his shirt that laid over their soul. "You're not my Nightmare," Was what Nightmare got back in return. _ It was probably unhealthy, their relationship. Misery feared that this was just a flitting moment that would disappear like how it did with Dream. He couldn't stop it though. He couldn't help falling for the counterpart of his former mate.

Nightmare already has a hard life in the village. from all the bullying, to things being thrown at him, to people trying to steal the golden apples from the tree that holds their mothers spirit. Dream on the other hand has mostly been ignorant of the problems going on with his brother and the village. Though one day after some villagers attempte to steal the golden apples once again. Something changed and the two brothers soon find themselves in a new unknown world with only each other and the clothes on their backs. (The cover is only a temporary until the actual cover is done.
