This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor. A mysterious caller has revealed that the infamous Danny Phantom is half-human, placing a five hundred thousand dollar prize to the one who exposes Phantom's secret identity. Coupled with Vlad's disappearance, the ghost fighting, and all of the efforts to capture him, Team Phantom must tread carefully if they are to make it out with their secrets, and their lives, intact.

"I can't transform." Tucker immediately whips out his PDA and runs over. A sob leaves Sam's body, and she backs away. Danny stands, frozen in fear, as Tucker sticks the tiny wires under his skin. The Amity residents wait in tense silence, unsure of what is occurring. The only sound is the echo of Sam's crying. Tucker looks up from the PDA, tears in his eyes. "I'm sorry." Summary: Life has become steadily easier for Danny Fenton. His world has finally stabilized after the incident four years ago. Now a senior in high school, Danny is finally managing to keep up with his classes. Ghost attacks are less frequent, now that the other ghosts see Amity Park as his haunt. Overcoming these problems has caused others to rise, however. Danny has been promised the throne of the Ghost Zone when he turns eighteen. With this development, he starts worrying about people discovering his secret. His paranoia turns into full-blown panic attacks when a new ghost shows up-one that might just kill Danny for the throne. ***I do not own Danny Phantom, or the art I used as the cover***

Danny was taken by the GIW when he was six. They killed his family and they're the only people he has ever known. When the Young Justice team find the boy at the facility they immediately take him away. What will happen to the boy who can't trust the living? Will he grow to trust the team? So, I decided to be fucking cliché, and write the most overused and overdone troupe in the book when it comes to the Danny Phantom fandom. I decided to do the field trip troupe. Thus, you all probably know what this fanfiction will entail. Nevertheless, I'll put a summary for those who might not know what they're getting into: Danny Fenton is just your normal kid, trying to survive the struggle of High School. Although, he does have a secret, a ghostly secret to be exact. After all, he is the Danny Phantom. The ghost that is loved or hated, ridiculed or admired. The hero of Amity Park that fights all the ghost trying to wreck havoc on the town. Luckily, over the years it has become easier to keep this fact from the town. At least, that's before Mr. Lancer dropped a bomb. There was going to be a field trip to the ghost zone, and his class was invited. So, join Danny and his friends as they try to survive this shit-storm that life has just thrown at them. Also Danny didn't reveal his identity in Phantom Planet.
