Louis and Harry grew up together, and were best friends even in their earliest memories. They are 12 years old when Louis has to move to Australia, and they never expect anything to be the same again. They make a pact, a promise to one another, put it in a bottle and throw it out to sea. They promise to get back in touch if any of them ever find the bottle again. A silly, childish pact that isn't so silly when you're only twelve years old. Seven years later, fate turns in their favour. Louis stumbles upon an old, green bottle and Harry just happens to be in Australia as an exchange student. They spend time together catching up, but no amount of time can make up for the seven years they spent apart. It's almost cruel when you realise the one thing most important to you has been in front of you all the while, yet you never realise.

Er bekommt alles was er will, er studiert BWL um ihrgendwann die Firma zu übernehmen, doch er ist alles andere als glücklich in seinem Leben. Er hat so gut, wie keine Freunde, nur Liam, seinen bester Freund. Sein Vater interessiert nur das Geld und seit der HighSchool wird er gemobbt. Man sollte denken, die Leute wären mittlerweile erwachsen geworden, doch es hat sich nur geschlimmert. Ganz anders Harry Styles. Er arbeitet in einer Bäckerei und möchte irgendwann eine eigende eröffnen. Er wohnt momentan bei seiner Schwester Gemma, die Konditorin ist. Er hat noch ein halbes Jahr davor in Holmes Chapel gelebt, jetzt in London. Die Familie Styles ist nicht reich oder so, aber Harry ist glücklich. Louis' Studium geht in London weiter, weil sein Vater meinte, er könnte dort mehr Erfahrungen Sammeln, als in Doncaster, also zieht er dahin. Er bekommt eine Wohnung, ein Auto und das Studium ohne PRobleme finanziert, doch dann sollen sich die Studenten für 5 Tage einen kleinen Betrieb oder einen Laden anschauen und dort mithelfen. Louis kommt an dem Weg nach 'Hause' an einer klienen, eher unscheinbaren Bäckerei vorbei.... * Naja...der Klappentext ist nicht so gut geworden, dennoch würde ich mich freuen, wenn ihr mal in die Geschichte rein lesen würdet. :))

Louis ging es in letzter Zeit immer schlechter, und zwar aus verschiedenen Gründen. Erstens: Er war in Harry verliebt. Problem: Harry hatte einen Freund. Zweitens: Er mochte sein Aussehen nicht. Problem: Er konnte nicht wirklich etwas daran ändern. Drittens: Er und Harry hatten sich auseinandergelebt. Problem: Er litt darunter. Um seinen Problemen zu entkommen, flüchtet Louis in eine Welt die zwar auch aus Schmerz besteht, aber Schmerz, den er kontrollieren kann. Und das ist etwas, was er braucht: Kontrolle.
