In the gigantic and adventurous city of Lumiose City, teenager Serena Yvonne looks to continue her studies in order to have a successful career as a Pokemon performer, even if that isn't what her mom hopes for. However, teenager Ash Ketchum, a newcomer to the Lumiose High School, catches the attention of the honey blonde haired teen. Will she be able to achieve her goal of being a performer, while also hoping to strike for gold with her other goal of getting closer to Ash? Or will an outside force disrupt the spark between Ash and Serena?
