"I know it's irrational, and I know it's selfish and absurd, but-"   James is always agreeing to his friends' wacky ideas, and getting himself into trouble because of it. So of course he agrees to a bet involving winning over the most-loved girl in school, whilst taking part in the school's annual theatre production. All he ever wanted to do was find a place for himself to fit in, and all of that just complicates everything even more. He's always been confused - about the mystery of his father, his grandparents, and even his mother, who is the person he's closest to in the world. And then in the midst of the bizarreness is someone else who is in exactly the same situation, only much worse. Instead of paying attention to himself, he decides to help her - which turns out to benefit both of them.

In which survival is put through the ultimate test. It is said that the supernatural world was like a thin sheet of glass - for it was far too harmonic; far too fragile for those to wreak havoc upon. Albeit, there was a hybrid that could shatter it with the touch of her finger, with the air of her presence. She was a crack in that glass, threatening to welcome all darkness that crawled from the grim abyss. She didn't ask for this. She didn't ask to be indomitable. She didn't ask to be perfect. And she certainly didn't ask to be hidden for her life sake. But yet she was, being a werewolf-angel, after all. Despite the many odds that are against her, she strives with a strong and unwavering spirit to survive in a world devoid of love. With a secret past, her life remains a true mystery to others. But this was all going to change. Meet Charlotte Taken, and this is her story. (Cover by 17Serenity) (Trailer by niamh1864)

"Oh my God, Zara," he whispered, taking a good look at me. The insecurity managed to break through my amorousness. "I knew you were a beautiful woman, but damn, you're about to kill me with those curves." "I..." I wrapped my arms around chest, feebly trying to shield myself from his stare. Shame churned within my stomach. "I-Is that a bad thing?" "No, it's a very good thing." Gently, he pushes my arms away so I can't hide myself anymore. I sighed as his fingers drew little lines along the curves of my hips. "Almost makes we wish I was a race car driver so I could fully appreciate them."
