Bride of Alvar What if your entire life your mother declared you're destined to wed a king from a magical world? Would you believe her? Probably not. I didn't believe her either, until a handsome, other-worldly king showed up to claim me as his bride. Despite my annoying attraction to him, I let the magical king know about a complication: I'm already engaged to somebody else. However, when monsters from Alvar's world kidnap my best friend, I find myself whisked away to his realm marrying him anyway. Aria Momba is an 19 year old anti-social extrovert. Living alone and losing a close friend is never an easy thing but she fights endless battles with her mind to survive the loss. Will she let other people into her life or will she go through all of it alone? This story has been many things before being what it is now. Its about self discovery in a world full of labels and self love when all you do is self hate. (This novel is dedicated to myself and other girls/boys out there who dont quite fit in with society's scales. You can chose to be whoever you want. Ignore the default setting.)

"Being reunited with your childhood best friend after eight years apart? Sounds like a heart-warming story. Finding out that said best friend is now a complete jerk who's determined to make your life hell? Not so much." Georgie and Connor were once inseparable. Best friends from birth, they did everything together - well, that was until Connor's dad got a once-in-a-lifetime job opportunity and the family was forced to relocate to New York. At age sixteen, Georgie's life is totally different - her main goal being to keep her head down and escape the brutalities of high school with as little emotional scarring as possible. Balancing school, work and her dwindling social life is enough of a challenge, but it's about to get a bit more complicated when her conceited ex-best friend gets thrown into the mix. Maybe friendship should come with an instruction booklet.

Life is full of surprises. Some good, some bad, and some are just in between. For me, a new surprise comes, and it happens to be full of boys. A lot of them. For nearly my whole life, I've never trusted boys, ever since several brutal heartbreaks. I definitely never expected to be tricked and blackmailed into enrolling in a recently co-Ed school for the wealthy, where 90% of the population is boys. Not to mention, all of them are extremely rich, gorgeous, cruel, and arrogant. And who would've thought- the five kings of the school are my dorm mates - The bad boy- Zachary, the good boy- Chris, the loner- Alec, the jock- Chase, and the artist- Jason. All of them just happen to be players, heartbreakers, and brutal in their own way, but to make things even more complicated, the boys that broke my heart into a million pieces just happen to show up. How long will I be able to handle the boys? I really don't know. But the real question here is how long I will be able to last until I finally break.
