Being lied to and locked away for most of her life has caused Lenora to have a rather jaded outlook on life; add on the fact that her father was the root of all her current problems, and is seriously needing to be found and sorted out, life is going pretty well, she would say. Escaping from an institution and instantly finding her path crossing two others, who apparently wish for her aid, how can Lenora not possibly use this to her advantage? She has a madman of her own to hunt down and stop, ignoring the fact that her life will become extremely complicated when discovering that actually, fellow mutants make life even trickier than what it all was originally. And here she thought that it was just regular people who were always causing all the problems?

Ashton was gifted with powers, so was Erik and with the help of Charles Xavier's school for gifted youngsters she was able to control and understand her powers without being judged. Erik becomes an English professor at the school and when Ashton goes off the rails after a tragic death, Erik finally confesses his longing feelings for her.

Amberle Foster has been in attendance at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters since her mutation made itself known. While she has always remained in the background of the growing academy, the recent defeat of Apocalypse has brought certain students to the fore front of attention. One of whom is a boy with lasers for eyes, Scott Summers. While Amberle must wear gloves to keep her abilities from non-consensually working on others, Scott faces a similar dilemma- he must wear specially crafted glasses to keep from blowing things up. The two would be considered complete opposites. Her father had promised her he would let her go outside on her sixteenth birthday, and as soon as she had the chance she ran. Afraid of being found, she became a family member to Hank(Henry) McCoy, who was also a mutant.
