[✓] ∥ It all happened in a split second. One moment I was on his back, and the next one I was lying on the ground, watching the man who would be responsible for my possible disabilities run away. The woman was sitting and had her back against a near-by wall, and from what I could see, her eyes were wide and she was shaking. I would be too, if I wasn't paralyzed. Literally. A few hours later, well, just about 20 seconds in reality, she slowly stood up and observed me with horror in her eyes for a few moments. I looked back at her, seeing as that was the only thing I could do to let her know I was still alive. "Dear lord, child, what have you done?" She whispered, looking down at me. "I need..." I could barely choke the words out. "I need you to call the ambulance." Copyright © 2014 by funkystyles

What happened to me is something I could never have dreamed up in my wildest imagination. I mean, no one really wakes up in the morning and expects to find a person you connect with so much, and feel a shared magnetism for that it may have you re-evaluating whether you believe in love at first sight. It's even more bizarre that this person is one of the most recognisable people on the planet. One should think of me as so lucky. All I ask is Pretty Please, Don't Pinch Me.. because this is one dream I don't want to wake up from. Ava Sinclair considered herself to be quite a regular twenty year old. That is right up until she runs into one of the most publicly lusted after men. Juggling work, friends and family is hard enough, so when she is thrust into the public eye in such an impromptu manner, she must learn to deal with all the add ons. Yet something much larger and something she doesn't quite understand emerges and she begins to lose all sense of reality. It wasn't that she didn't want to live anymore, she just didn't want to be in her life. Kylie Madison was a pretty closed type of girl. You could say she was strong, if you really wanted to, only because she appeared that way to people on the outside. She only did it so people wouldn't ask questions, so people would stay out of her business. But what if you really knew her? If you did, you'd know that her mother had died when she was twelve to a drunk driver, and her father drowned his sorrows in alcohol, but he was trying to quit, for his one and only daughter. With her dad working on and off, she had a job herself working at a local bakery. While balancing a job and college, she didn't really have a social life, a few friends here, two or three there, but she wasn't really into all of that. She had learned to adapt on her own, to live on her own because no one else would help her, she was alone. She hadn't had a boyfriend since year eleven of high school, which turned out to blow up in her face. She was better off without them anyway, everything she touched seemed to cause a problem. So what happens when a boy comes to her job, being nice to her and starting conversations? What if he likes her, and she learns to like him back? Are her troubles over? So, is she free? Seems as if she may be, maybe he can change her life. But that's a lot to put on one boy's shoulders, especially one who tours around the world with his four best friends, isn't it? I mean, he's got a life too, he is an international pop star. But he said he would help her, and he would never break a promise. So it seems she could be fine now. But that's unrealistic, right? Life isn't a fairytale, nor will it ever be. Or so Kylie thought.
