This story takes place a year after the amazing musical Wicked. Elphaba decides to go back and see Glinda. But trouble arises. New friends are made. Old friends are back. And the truth comes out. Will the friendship keep going, or will Elphaba meet a treacherous fate, for real this time.

Elphaba just arrived at Shiz University. Despite the jeering at her green skin from her peers, Elphaba feels oddly at home with and attracted to her new, popular, perky roommate, Galina.

He brought her to the middle of nowhere then ran off in the middle of the night. Elphaba was now out somewhere, and Glinda has no idea she is alive. Glinda has spent her time mourning her lost friend, in the concealment of the emerald castle. Everyone believes she is fine, but Chistery, her monkey who is learning to speak, knows the truth and he knows where Elphie really is. Glinda now going crazy and counting the days since her friend has been deceased is close to insanity. One lucky day Chistery gets word to Elphaba about Glindas state, and she rushes back. How will the citizens of Oz react to her return? What will hapoen with Fiyero? Will Glinda go back to normal? Most important will she forgive Elphie?

Oz has changed since the death of the Wicked witch and the sudden leave of the Wizard. Five years later we find out what happened to some familiar faces and see how their stories have changed along with life in Oz.
