Dan Howell and Phil Lester share a passion for soccer. When they make it onto their school's team, they are determined to impress the coaches and their teammates. The two boys are too caught up in competition to realize that they are more alike than it seems, instead drinking while underage and bringing home bad report cards. But then one night they find each other at a party, and suddenly their relationship is moving faster than a ball flying towards the goal.

Camp Overfell is a two month long escape from the troubling teenage life. At least, that's what the website says. For Dan Howell, it's nothing but an excuse for his parents to get rid of him for the summer, and rightly so. Okay, so maybe he fucks up sometimes. He didn't mean to set the classroom on fire, he was just trying to liven up the coma-inducing lesson. Long story short, he doesn't want to be here. But he is, and dealing with it isn't easy. Three roommates, one bathroom and constant adult supervision? Not his idea of an 'escape'. What he needs is fun, and maybe his eccentric bunk mates can help with that.

Meet Dan and Phil. The boys are roommates at university, Phil being the quiet one with stage freight and Dan is the loud, outgoing one. Phil prefers his books. Dan prefers his band. Phil is good in school. Dan is good at beer pong. The two are completely different and rarely communicate, so when the lead singer of Dan's band drops out, he becomes desperate and has heard Phil singing one too many times. Phil Lester is sweet and cute; known for his kindness and enthusiasm. Dan Howell is a tough, cold outsider; known as the school's stereotypical 'bad boy'. But if he's so bad, then why on earth did he rescue Phil Lester and give him a smile which would melt anyone's heart?

Book 2 in the Grim Reaper trilogy! After Phil gets rejected by the Highers in his request to be a Reaper, him and Dan decide to live in the human world together. But when Dan's friend, PJ, tells him that the Highers want him back, and are willing to accept Phil, Dan is honestly quite happy to be going back. After the tension and stress of Phil changing, Dan's just glad to be going back to normal. But he can't help but notice that Phil's a bit.....different.

Dan is a firm believer that love doesn't exist. Not in adults, and definitely not in high school. He detests silly love stories and petty relationships, posing as 'love', and nothing could possibly change his mind in that. But when new student Phil takes an intrest in Dan, he can't deny that he's interested in the boy. His bubbly personality and hopeless romantic ways draw Dan in.....and might just change his mind in the thoughts of love.
