Detective Robert Chase is investigating a case that leaves him scratching his head. Two young men have gone missing. While the detective struggles to solve the case, he slowly discovers what lies behind his perfect society. ps. This is a story I wrote in 6th grade for a project. Harry Eastbourne was the golden boy of The Elites Agency. As a special Agent with the fame of a reality star, Harry found himself thrust into the spotlight overnight, the pressure of becoming the best of the best a tumultuous weight on his shoulders. The problem with reality stars is that most of them crash and burn. While having the talent and intelligence to live up to his expectations as an Elite Agent, his personal struggles started to get the better of him. Wrecking his relationships with all those close to him in spectacular fashion, including the love of his life, as well as wrecking his body in the process, Harry found himself amidst scandals large enough to unofficially exile him from England, seeking a quieter professional career overseas. But when Harry finally returns to the English scene four years later, his past returns to haunt him with a vengeance. With personal and professional failures ready to take the lives of the entire Agency and anyone associated with it, it's down to Harry to fix the problems he caused back when he was a troubled man.

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. While her classmates hang out at parties, she is working at her father's convenience store, stacking shelves with canned food. On a walk home from a day at school, she collides with a mysterious boy with striking blue eyes and a pale face.
