Han'niah is 13 years old when her life suddenly falls apart. Growing up in the rough terrains of Sudan, Africa, Han'niah is led to beleive by her mother and tribe that her father was a good man who was killed by The Rebels before she was born. But when she discovers the truth about who her father was, she finds herself drafted unwillingly into the child army run by The Rebels; fighting not only to stay true to herself, but to keep herself alive. As more to her hidden past appears, Han'niah discovers that her entire life was just a cover up for her complex roots.

This is a story I came up with out of nowhere last summer. It's still a work in progress and I'll probably change it a bunch of times but so far the solids about this story is a girl who was kidnapped when she was nine to join this place called The Unit and she's constantly trying to escape with her best friend Drew who is kind of like a big brother to her. In the begining she meets a guy about her age who seems very familiar and it kind of sprouts from there. It's a work in progress so if you have any suggestions or corrections please let me know!
