This is a little different from the show, not just the events but some of the characters positions. Katara hasn't met Zuko yet, but she has met Haru. Haru's father has become some important person. The Earth Kingdom will make an alliance with the Southern water tribe if Katara marries Haru. Zuko gets wind of this and decides to capture Katara the bride-to-be. How will this work out for Zuko? Apart from one thing She was Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation's soon to be wife, arranged by her parents. Zuko, was a Prince. He got everything he wanted with a move of his hand, his country was warm, he bent and he bent well, he had a sister who was pretty awesome at times and a mother and father who loved him. What more could he ask for?

An Au, where Katara is found to be the last water bender, she is taken from her home and brought to the Fire Nation where she is thrown in front of Fire Lord Ozai, who takes her in, hoping that one day she could become a great asset in his war

After Ba Sing Se, Zuko has a change of heart and fakes his death. He travels saving Fire Nation villages as the Blue Spirit. On one of his travels he encounters the Painted Lady. The two, both believed to be dead, now work together to save the nation from the inside. Romance blooms but danger causes Katara to run, with two extra packages. 15 years later and an unlikely encounter on Ember Island causes a whole lot of drama. OR Zuko becomes competent at handling angsty teenagers and realises... he's becoming his uncle.

Peace in the world has been restored, but there are always new battles to be fought. As new trouble brews, it becomes difficult for Firelord Zuko to keep peace in his Kingdom which he fought so hard to achieve. Playing dirty can only get you so far, but love might be the answer to it all.

This is a Zutara FANFICTION, so if you don't like it, don't read it and respect my opinion. I have done one before, but it did not turn out like I wanted it too. Now the summary! This takes place after Avatar the Last Airbender and they are around their early twenties so yay! After the defeat of the Fire Nation, Zuko has been in charge of all four nations. A new threat is about to rise and the old gang must come together to defeat it. It's a whole new adventure with dips and turns. See what happens! When Zuko falls ill with a deadly spirit fever Katara learns her healing abilities are the only remedy for his illness. While spending time together the two develop feelings for one another, but Katara refuses to act on her feelings. Leaving Zuko to wonder if Katara will ever be able to look beyond who he was in his past, and fall in love with who he's become in the present.

Katara is 18 and the Southern Water Tribe has held an uneasy allegiance with the Fire Nation for the last 100 or so years. When Katara's tribe goes through a food shortage, Katara takes it upon herself to make sure they survive. She agrees to enter a competition where the young Prince Zuko will choose a wife out of 35 women. Katara promises herself she only has to last a day until a truce she can't ignore is offered, and now Katara is in it for the long haul. A Zutara! Selection AU.
