Freshman year. We've all been through it, the feeling like you are being watched and everyone knows you're nervous just by walking through the halls. Well, for Macy, this isn't a problem. She's as confident as can be going into freshman year with her friends. She doesn't care what anyone else thinks about her, or what they say about her. All she cares about is making it through the year with her friends, and making the girls basketball team. Nothing can get in her way, or so she thought. What happens when she bumps into the one and only, lamelo ball? Will they become friends, or stay strangers? Maybe they'll become something greater than friends, I guess you'll have to read to find out.

Ione Allen is the best basketball player in the nation for the class for 2019. She recently moved from Seattle, Washington to Chino Hills, California with her adoptive parents and 2 adoptive sisters, Arizona and Hunter, Arizona being a star player of the UCLA women's basketball team and Hunter is the best of the class of 2017. They have lived by the motto "Ball or Fall" all their lives, being pushed by their father, and have believed no one can beat them. No one has succeeded until they meet the Ball Brothers, LaMelo, LiAngelo, and Lonzo, who challenge them as ball players.

They are in collage together. He's a cocky basketball player with a perfect life ahead of him. She's reserved and quit. While she comes off happy the life she has at home is happy. She struggles with money problems, moving house to house, balancing school, and her job. Now she has to balance him out. He loves her, but she's hard to get.
