After spending three years in eternal darkness, Leena is determined to escape the hell that is The Cells of Dalgog. To do so she must first slink her way through the sweltering forest surrounding the cells. But, like all victors before her, she'll find escape isn't as easy as it seems. Only mere days into her journey, Leena finds herself hunted by the deadliest creature known throughout all the twelve kingdoms. Wounded and in peril, she seeks help in the form of a snippy assassin to make it out of the forest alive. Now free of the shackles that once bound her to the cells, Leena only wishes to live a normal life. But as fate would have it, she is destined for much more. With the guidance of a humble Wizard and clingy Assassin, Leena can only dodge what fate throws at her. But what if she wasn't supposed to? With a heart far from ice, Leena strives to save her world from the darkness that crawls its way out of The Sicklands. With the help of her new companions, and a ruby amulet, Leena fights to defeat an evil far stronger than any that had ever threatened Mythirion before.

Highest :#5 Since the very inception of this universe, we've been there. Always watching, following, observing. We've even lived in galaxies and planets yet to be discovered by humans. Seen things beyond your wildest imaginations. But we were foolish. Imprudent we were to have followed the humans. For they have now ruined us. We are subjugated to live in captivity just so that peace can be maintained on Earth. Is there a way out for us? To escape this torture and pain? Can we...break the law? Go against the council? To rebel against the very decree that governs us? The charter that dictates who we are and the legislation that we are all bound to since the very beginning of time? But how longer can one endure? Our freedom, honour, dignity, all ripped away. Gone. Forced apart from our loved ones, with no hopes of a reunion. Without even a chance to say goodbye. Are our lives going to be spent in servitude till our very last breath? Or can there be a change after 4.54 billion years? Dare I hope for a revolution? Or is it criminal to even have such thoughts? ******************************** 'No Lucia. I can not. I will not. I will not let you live your life pining after me in the hope that someday we will be together', I said with a heavy heart. I refused to bind my loved one to me. Our masters would eventually change and then we would be separated again. And I couldn't see my Lucia in such agony. 'Oh Cimme', Lucia replied cupping my jaw with her hand. 'I love you and I'll happily wait for aeons simply knowing that you do too'. 'I do. With all my heart, but, Love is a trap my dear Lucia. When it appears we see only its light, not its shadows'. I replied solemnly. Trying to knock some sense into her. 'Then my dear Cimme', Lucia began with a twinkle in her eye, 'I'm glad I fell into this trap. Only then would I have seen you.' **********************************

Everyone knows the rules of growing up. Once you're eighteen things become clearer, childhood problems melt away, and you're ready to go out and conquer the world. You're now an adult. You can look your parents in the eye as equals. Officially, you're on your own, and now you'll only look back fondly at what you once were, an immature child still learning about life. Or so you'd think. Jake is a young adult who grew up with the support of his family, especially his mother, Elaine. Though he experienced some rough patches as a child and fitting in was a constant challenge, she's been there for him. But it's time for Jake to "grow up" and for him, that means no longer needing his family. It turns out that life without them is a far greater struggle than he ever imagined. Living independently is hard, but admitting it is even harder. Join this true story of conflict and heart-pounding moments, as both mother and son explore the concept of parenting as a lifelong commitment.

Just an ordinary guy, "Guy Normal" (yes, that's his name people) goes through his thoughts about life from his view while trying to relate with anybody who feels or has ever felt like a nobody. He often "breaks through the fourth wall" sarcastically, hysterically, and humorously in his little, petty autobiography (I mean, he's already adding a sarcastic 'short' to the title!). And yes, this story is cheesy, but it wouldn't be much of a sarcastic comedy without a bit of it, would it? Now it is up to you, the reader... Does he exist? Or is he just alive? *Feel free to follow, comment, and vote! (Thank you for your generosity) *completed :D* *all photos are original unless stated otherwise!*
