Rebellions are built on hope, but how powerful is a Rebel's Hope? Is it enough to prevent the seemingly inevitable? What if Jyn Erso and Captain Cassian Andor had survived? Don't be afraid, I feel it too. A connection between Jyn and Cassian. Don't get me wrong, the ending to Rogue One was beautiful but I want more. I want an alternate ending, if not for others to enjoy than perhaps just me. I think their relationship had potential, though it didn't actually materialize because their deaths were inevitable. SO disregard canon and disregard the fact that it was a necessary ending or how they were truly at peace when they died because they only cared about the mission.
