"A middle-aged man approached in a ringmasters type suit, it was worn down to the point where the colors were faded and the fabric seemed to be holding its breath. He had shaggy dusty-brown hair and a few major wrinkles, but his best facial feature had to be the crows' feet that tilted the small corners of his eyes when he smiled. He stood in the center of an empty neighborhood, eight symmetrical houses, all evenly spread around a small circle of a street. White fence posts separated the homes and drew a long path behind. and all the way back to the other side. The man smiled, His smile was that of something wickedly joyful, he held his exhaustion in his eyes, and behind that, a form of triumph, of power.
