Adrien was forbidden. Forbidden to see Ladybug. Forbidden to go onto the internet. Forbidden to use his phone. Forbidden to leave his room. Even for meals. Photoshoots were okay. Of course. Forbidden to argue with his father. Forbidden to go down to their basement. But that rule had been in place ever since his mom died. How could Adrien save Paris now? With Ladybug close to figuring out Papillon's identity, Chat Noir would be needed by her side at all times. What would Ladybug do without him? I do not own Miraculous Ladybug or any of the characters, but I did come up with this concept on my own. The cover image is not mine, but I think you'll agree that it's really quite cool!

Adrien Agreste is tired of it all. The beatings. The pain. The façade he must put on in front of his friends, in front of Ladybug. He cannot take it anymore. Marinette begins to notice that something is up with Adrien, and becomes worried when Chat's entire personality changes. She desperately wants to help her partner and find out what is wrong with Adrien, but she has no idea how to. Will she figure out how to save them in time? Or will she be too late?

When Adrien's father goes too far in a fight and breaks Adrien's ring, Adrien will find out a secret that Plagg has been keeping from him, the dark truth about the cat miraculous. REWRITTEN.

This AU is going to show Anne and Pillip's story lines as Marinette and Adrien. Tikki will be Charity and Plagg as Barnum.

Marinette had unfortunately lost her eyesight in a horrid tragedy a year before. She dreads the first day of her sophomore year (10th grade/10th year), fearing that none of the students will want anything to do with the poor blind girl yet again. Luckily, Marinette is able to meet Adrien Agreste: a gorgeous, rich, and selfless blond model. It does not take very much for the two teenagers to quickly become the closest of friends. What if Lady Wifi took Ladybug's miraculous, rather than wait for her to use her lucky charm? Will Hawk Moth triumph at last, or be defeated once more? I rewatched the Lady Wifi episode of Miraculous Ladybug and couldn't stop screaming at everyone for how stupid they were. So I decided to rewrite the episode in my own way to make this fanfic.
